Our new Year 7 students have had an action-packed few days at Winmarleigh Hall, taking on a fantastic range of challenges and adventures.

Activities included raft building, archery, trapeze, the giant swing and a silent disco, with plenty of opportunities for students to work together, encourage one another and step outside their comfort zones. There was even some spooky fog to add to the atmosphere!

Staff have been hugely impressed by the students' enthusiasm, teamwork and behaviour throughout the trip. From conquering nerves on the high ropes to getting stuck into team challenges, students have shown plenty of resilience, courage and determination.

And, of course, there have been plenty of laughs along the way, including some staff getting just as involved as the students!

After three busy days of adventure, Year 7 are heading home with new friendships, new experiences and lots of memories to share. A brilliant start to life at The Westleigh School!
