Rewards and Recognition

At our school, we believe it is important to recognise and celebrate pupils who demonstrate positive behaviour, make good choices, work hard and contribute positively to our school community.

Throughout the year, pupils have a range of opportunities to earn rewards and have their achievements celebrated.

Green Points – Arbor

Pupils can earn Green Points through Arbor for demonstrating positive behaviour, effort, achievement and our school values.

Green Points are recorded on Arbor, allowing pupils and families to see and celebrate the positive choices and achievements pupils make throughout the school day.

Rewards Shop

Pupils can use the Green Points they have earned to access our Rewards Shop. The shop provides pupils with the opportunity to choose from a range of rewards, encouraging them to continue working towards positive goals.

Postcards Home

Staff send positive postcards home to recognise pupils who have gone above and beyond, demonstrated excellent effort or made an outstanding contribution to school life.

These provide an opportunity for pupils to share their successes with their families.

Termly Reward Trips

Each term, pupils have the opportunity to take part in a reward trip in recognition of consistently positive behaviour, attendance, effort and engagement with school.

Headteacher's Lunch

Selected pupils are invited to a special Headteacher's Lunch in recognition of their achievements, positive attitude and contribution to the school community.

College Rewards

Our college system encourages pupils to work together and take pride in their wider school community.

The best-performing college is recognised by the Headteacher and receives a special prize in celebration of its collective achievements.

Half- Termly Awards

The Headteacher also recognises individual achievement through special Chocolate Bar Awards.

These are awarded to pupils for best performance and most improved, celebrating both outstanding achievement and the progress pupils make.

End-of-Term Certificates

At the end of each term, pupils' achievements are celebrated through our end-of-term certificates.

Certificates recognise a range of successes, including effort, progress, achievement, positive behaviour and contribution to school life.

Celebrating Success

Our rewards programme is designed to ensure that positive choices, hard work, improvement and achievement are noticed and celebrated. We want every pupil to have the opportunity to succeed and to feel proud of the contribution they make to our school community.
